Victim: Lynne Carol Hartunian

Lynne Carol Hartunian Lynne Carol Hartunian, born March 13, 1967, was from Niskayuna, New York. Majoring in communications studies, Lynne was a senior at the State University of New York at Oswego. She was studying in her college's London exchange program for a semester. She was traveling home for Christmas and to be a godmother to her new nephew. Lynne left behind her parents Joe and Joanne, a brother Rick, a sister Patricia O'Keefe, six nephews and one niece.

During her semester in London she managed to tour a great part of Europe. In Rome, she shook hands with the Pope and in France she toured the Palace of Versailles. She spent her time traveling Europe picking out the perfect gifts for family and friends. Among items recovered from her luggage that fell on Lockerbie was an intact bottle of French wine for her parents. She graduated from Oswego cum laude posthumously and a scholarship is awarded each year in her name from her high school.
