Victim: James Bruce MacQuarrie

James Bruce MacQuarrie James MacQuarrie was the caption of the Clipper Maid of the Seas Boeing 747 that was blown up over Lockerbie Scotland. Captain MacQuarrie had been a pilot for 32 years. He lived in a 200-year-old historic home in Kensington, New Hampshire with his wife Janet. He had two children, Michael and Pamela.

James was a graduate of Peterborough High School and Boston University. He served three years in the U.S. Navy and had belonged to the Massachusetts Air National Guard where he held the rank of Major.
