Victim: Andrew Alexander Teran

Andrew Alexander Teran Andrew Teran was born in La Paz, Bolivia but his mother was Scottish. He chose to go to the University of Edinburgh to study abroad during his junior year at Yale in order to discover his Scottish roots. Having lived most of his life in Lima, Peru and the United States, and due to his dual heritage, Andrew was very globally aware. He wanted to pursue a career in international law. In order to increase understanding of Latin American Culture he founded "Buscando America" at Yale. He was a writer of lyrics and poetry and had a wonderful sense of humor. Andrew planned to hike the Andes and write a novel.

Andrew was survived by his parents, Feliz and Pamela, his sister Suzanne, and his brother Javier.
