Victim: William Martin Cadman
William (Bill) Martin Cadman was a native of Liverpool, England and lived and worked in London. Well known in the popular music world, Bill had worked with the rock group Pink Floyd and had helped design a sound system for the opening of the Tate Gallery at Liverpool's Albert Dock. In the spring of 1989, composer Gavin Bryars created the Cadman Requiem as a memorial to Bill, who was both his friend and sound engineer.
